Got good grades in school (top 5%), went to a good college (cum laude), worked for Fortune companies and successful startups, didn’t accumulate debt (until the last couple of years), doesn’t take fancy vacations, invests in my 401(k) — when you “do everything right” and “work hard” and still can’t make ends meet, the playbook ain’t playin’ homies.

Will you all do more of these please? Specifically can @HeyJohnRussell do some focus group interviews with people at your bar? Your More Perfect Union interviews with just real regular people who reminded me of the humanity of members of my own redneck family roots was about the only thing that kept me sane during that election cycle we just went through. Gonna need more of that to get me through whatever hell this is about to be for the next few years... More real people. Less media spin. Less bullshit. Cross culturally connecting is going to be more powerful for the collective detox than anything else right now.

3% is not a mandate. Trump win 51%. Harris won 48% … so a 3% difference …. How is that a landslide … how is that a mandate … that is a razor close election … 1/2 of America does not agree with Trump/MAGA

The minute I saw Princess Cheney in the same room (multiple times, mind you) as Kamala Harris I knew we were cooked. Everyone was talking about joy while I was at home scratching my head lol.

“Lower class”: When is the last time that politically incorrect misnomer was a general term? (So what is “Middle class”? ⁉️). Low income. Working poor. Mainstream worker. Member of the masses. I knew when Kamala hit the road for “the middle class” that the middle class and Close to Middle class wishers would love her. In the larger picture, call it. Own it. Fight on its foundation. !!

You guys are inspiring, refreshing, needed voices and Jessica is right; NOW is the appointed time. And this week is high time to light the matches and candles. We should start the 2 year plan TODAY. Time is 11:45. That is PM.

And where are our leaders? I revere some voices on SUBSTACK but they are not more financially challenged than being middle class. They are living where I am: in a cozy roost somewhere. The only truly honest breakthrough voice I know is William Barbour of The Poor People’s Campaign.

I’ve been wanting to stick up for fairness since I was adolescent. I would love to be a part of something MASSIVE OVERHAUL.

I am sick of the trolling of the new meme “the price of eggs”. HELL YEAH it’s the price of eggs!!!! HELL YEAH it’s everyday struggle to get by for everything.

You go, guys. How many of us are ready to ——? Give us some leadership.

Last, I’d like to take the liberty of mentioning what I consider three major points of losing the election

Number one: race and gender (use it)

Number two: non-talk to the masses and the economically challenged.

Number three: the absolutely fucked and basically unopposed massive right side social-and-general-print-media disaster poisoning of minds thru propaganda and partisan lies

Thanks for starting your podcast. Just what I need to keep going! I’m into.
